Some years ago, a young lady who loved to live her life the way she feels, had a dream. In the dream, every member of the family were around going about their chores, when suddenly she found herself alone, others were nowhere to be found as she searched frantically for them. Right there, she sensed in her spirit that the rapture had taken place, others had been raptured  and she’s left alone. She knew the consequences and began to weep. On waking up, she found tears on her eyes. Immediately, of her own volition, she went on a three day fasting and prayer. She sought the Lord, asked for forgiveness and rededicated her life to God.

Early in January 2010, a man had a dream. The setting was a very big church auditorium with galleries. The auditorium was full of people. As he was at the altar area (which is about the size of a plot of land and half) a man in white gown was pacing up and down, he heard in his spirit, Jesus. After a while, some people began to step on the altar till that part of the auditorium was full. The remaining people were relaxed and reluctant to join those on the altar. The number of people on the altar was of course insignificant compared to the total number of people in the auditorium, then the word rapture came to his spirit and he woke up.

Towards the end of February 2010, a woman had a dream. It was a market place. Everyone was engrossed in buying and selling, when she stamped her foot on the ground and called the name of Jesus. The people looked up and at the third mention of that name the people got very angry. As she was being lifted up she sang the songs, “On the last day, On the last day, only true believers will be raptured,” and “Dry bones shall rise again.” Some of the people joined in singing while majority felt angry and ready to attack, then she woke up.

Through the Holy Scriptures and various means the Lord is alerting and calling His people to prepare for His soon return. Friends, Christ shall come back for His saints.“… ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds.” (Mt. 26:64).

“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout … and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds.” (1 Thess. 4:16 – 17)

The Lord Himself tells us that He will come at a time when we least expect (Matt. 24:44), for this reason we are admonished to be sober, vigilant and watch to the end, because the end of all things is at hand. Even though our Lord’s coming may have been delayed, His return is certain. “In my Father’s house are many mansions … I go to prepare a place for you … I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” (John 14:2 – 3).

The day of reckoning.

The day of reckoning is near. The Lord will come back and demand account reconciliation. “The Son of Man shall come in His glory … sit upon the throne of His glory . . . and shall reward everyone according to his works” (Mt. 25:31; 16:27).  A judgment time is coming, when Jesus, “will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the harts . . .” (1 Cor. 4:5)

The cup of iniquity is already full and running over and very soon, the Creator, the Possessor of the heavens and the earth will say, “It is enough.” He, therefore, will come as it is already written, “Behold, He comes to execute judgment upon all and to convict all that are ungodly . . . of their ungodly deeds (Jude 14 – 15) “. . . taking vengeance on them that know not God . . . and  obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ . . .” (2 Thes. 1:7 – 9).

Fellow believers, in the light of all these we are told to “. . . pray always, that ye may be counted worthy to escape all these things [judgments] … and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke. 21:36).

To be counted worthy we must:

Remain in Christ (2 Cor. 5:17 – 18), live worthy (Luke 21:36), be without spot or wrinkle (Eph. 5:27); live and walk in the Spirit (Gal. 5:25); abstain from all appearances of evil (1 Thess. 5:22); live each day of your live as if it was the very last; these will help us to be on guard and be alert (Mark 13:35).

A clarion call, therefore, to all ministers of the gospel irrespective of the area of calling, is to declare unto the people “all (the whole) counsel of God” (Acts 20:27); reminding believers to be prepared for Christ’s soon return.

Friend, believe it – the rapture will take place. Jesus Christ is coming back again, and very soon.
