The Bible talks about the little foxes that spoil the vine; it also tells us what to do with them: “Quick! Catch the little foxes before they ruin the vine….” (Songs of Solomon 2:1 NLT). They may be little but they must be caught and gotten rid of quickly, and in time, otherwise they will bring nothing but ruin to the blooming vineyard. Like the little foxes every sin, weakness or shortcoming in our lives must be dealt with and not excused otherwise they will hinder or ruin our walk with God, “… let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders …” (Heb. 12:1 NLT)

Child of God, sin has no other name. as far as God is concerned there are no little or big sins. God demands total holiness from His children because He is a holy God. And he never tells us to do anything that He has not given us the ability or enablement, otherwise He will be an unjust God. He has made it possible for us to live holy lives, and a life that pleases Him, if we choose to do so.

What are those sins or weights in your life you have been excusing for so long? It’s time to strip them off, if you truly want to continue waling with God. When we truly are walking with God it will manifest in our relationship with our fellowmen. We would love others more and treat them with love and respect.

We sincerely pray that this issue will inspire and encourage you to seek a deeper walk with God, which will give you stability in times such as these, causing you to reflect His glory, creating the enabling atmosphere for Him to reign in your home and be prepared for His soon return.

Remain in His love.
