Talking about Moses Hebrews 11:27 says, “By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.”

If God is invisible and no man can see Him, how did Moses see the invisible God?

Moses was a man like us, but He was always mindful of God and lived to please Him.  God was always on his mind and before him.  It didn’t matter where he was, who he was with or what he was doing, God was always before Him.

When we read about Moses in the Bible we realize that, as busy as he was, he was a man who took time to be alone with God. And we should always make time to be alone with God too.

lf you want to see the Invisible God you must know Him through His written Word, you must know Him in the place of prayer. This is how and when you start to cultivate and develop your conscousness of His abiding presence with you always.

Below are 8 things that will be helpful in addition to what l have said.

 1.  Know, understand and believe that God is always with you.  Be aware of His nearness to and with you all day.  He is with you though you can’t see Him physically and you may not feel or sense Him at times.

2. Learn to turn your thoughts towards Him constantly throughout the day and converse with Him.

3.  Ask God to open your eyes of understanding, to teach you to see Him in the simple, little, daily things of life.

4.  Learn to recognize His providential care or hands of providence in your own life and that of others, that is, seeing the hand of God at work in your own life as well as the lives of others. And be thankful to Him for that.

5.  God has revealed Himself in and through nature all around us. Learn to see God in nature.

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” Romans 1:20

6.  See Him in the unexplainable experiences that happen to you and others – e.g. Near misses, narrow escapes, unqualified favours and blessings etc.

7.  See God in and through the pages of the Bible. The Bible is God’s voice in print. Read it to see God and hear Him speak to you.

8.  Keep your heart pure at all times.  Jesus tells us, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”  Matthew 5:8.
